Dr. Sivasubbu graduated with a PhD from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and is currently a Scientist at the CSIR Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology. His core research interests include Genetics, Developmental Biology and Genomics. Dr. Sivasubbu's lab uses the zebrafish model to study the molecular mechanisms of gene regulation, function and genome organization in vertebrates. His latest publications include "High resolution methylome map of rat indicates role of intragenic DNA methylation in identification of coding region" in PLoS One (2012) and "Antagonism of microRNA Function in Zebrafish Embryos by Using Locked Nucleic Acid Enzymes (LNAzymes)" in Chembiochem (2012).
