NextGen Genomics, Biology, Bioinformatics and Technologies (NGBT) Conference to be held from Oct 2nd - 4th in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, is organized by SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF), a not-for-profit organization working to promote Science, Research & Education in India and rest of Asia.
The NGBT conference is jointly hosted with the Centre for the Commercialization of Antibodies and Biologics (CCAB), Toronto, Canada, Toronto Recombinant Antibody Centre (TRAC), Toronto, Canada, Institute of Bioinformatics (IOB), Bengaluru, India, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT University), Bhubaneswar, India and National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar, India. This is the seventh international conference hosted by SGRF Conferences, the educational outreach arm of SciGenom Research Foundation (SGRF), along with national and international institutes.
The 2016 NGBT conference was attended by over 1000 delegates from India and various parts of the world. There were 18 keynote lectures and 84 talks over the course of three days. The conference also featured over 200 posters and 10 poster awards. A live demo of PacBio Sequel and an art exhibition were also part of the meeting activities. The 2016 NGBT conference scholarships and travel awards supported 150 students towards their expenses fully or partially, for attending the meeting. SGRF also announced five genome project grant winners who will get support for their research work.
The 2017 NGBT conference will showcase and promote application of NextGen sequencing and genomics technologies for basic and translational science in all areas of biology including human genetics, drug discovery, clinical medicine, biomarkers, diagnostics, animal, plant and agricultural sciences. It will also cover basic biology, cellular signalling, cancer and plant biology. We expect over 1000 delegates. The conference, as in the past, is designed to provide a forum for scientists and students to share their work, build new connections and explore collaborations.
AllSeq has created the world's first true Sequencing Marketplace. You can submit your project to the Marketplace to receive competitive bids. Our online forms help guide you to create an accurate description of your sequencing project, ensuring that you receive accurate, consistent bids. Or you can browse our comprehensive list of service providers, filtering them by platform, application and specialty. Our NGS Knowledge Bank, a neutral source of information on the various sequencing technologies, platforms and applications, can help guide your project design. Our NGS Conference list includes over 100 sequencing and genomics conferences annually, many with free discount codes.
